The thesis focuses on development of color information transformation model which takes into account actual conditions of illumination in the color reproduction systems. The methods of forming the multidimensional color look-up tables of color imaging devices are proposed. They allow reducing error during the process of transformation of color coordinates of images within the reproduction process. Information technologies of digital and soft color proofs are proposed. The method of matching of color, formed by a color proof device and printing equipment by means of color management system is also developed which allows to obtain predictable colors in printing process. The problem of quality assurance of color reproduction of prints is considered. It has been developed the control scale for the quantitative estimation of reproduction psychological accuracy tolerances. It has been defined the tolerances for the reproduction of the main memorable colors such as color of the human skin, color of the sky and the grass by means of expert evaluation. The method of an estimation of quality of the color reproduction, including the estimation of colorimetric and psychological accuracy, is developed.
