Kovalyova G. Economic efficiency of animal husbandry at agricultural enterprises

The research generalizes theoretical and methodological basics of considering the notion "efficiency". The main factors of influence upon efficiency of animal husbandry industry are defined. Methods of estimating economic efficiency of production and sale of animal husbandry manufacture are suggested The work estimates structural and dynamic trends of animal husbandry development in Ivano-Frankivs'k region, reveals the factors causing them, analyzes variations in the number of livestock and poultry as well as volumes of livestock production and estimates economic efficiency at agricultural ventures. The research grounds recommendations concerning agricultural cooperative societies as one of the ways of protecting interests of agrarian commodity producers and consumers. The ways of improving innovational activities as a factor of formation of competitive advantages of livestock enterprises are worked out. Methodological and practical approaches of strengthening state regulation and supporting agrarian commodity producers are suggestered.
