Essay

The research is focused on theoretical basics of development and efficiency of small-sized agricultural enterprises. Conceptual basics of foundation of small-sized ventures are generalized. Their role in developing rural areas is defined. The number of small-sized agrarian ventures and efficiency of their functioning are analized. Peculiarities of those ventures' development in various economic zones of the region under research are revealed. The degree of investment attraction of small-sized agricultural ventures is estimated. Optimal sizes of small-sized agricultural ventures are grounded. Ways of raising those ventures' efficiency and recommendations concerning their state support are worked out.
