Elaboration of designing of longitudinal profile on the basis of changing radius curves. The thesis covers the method of designing of the red line of longitudinal profile of roads on the basis of changing-radius curves with elaboration of algorithm of definition marks determination. We studied present methods of designing of the red line of longitudinal profile of roads and analyzed transition curves for application during red line of longitudinal profile designing, and deduced the generalizing equation of changing-radius curve. We developed the method of reduction of the changing-radius curve equation to numerical method in designing of the red line of longitudinal profile of roads. We also investigated the change of the radius of the concave vertical curve depending on its centrifugal speedup, and change of safe visibility distance during designing of the red line of longitudinal profile of roads using proturberant vertical curves. We developed the method of designing of the red line of longitudinal profile of roads on the basis of changing-radius curves with elaboration of algorithm of definition marks determination.
