The dissertation is devoted to the study of symbolic paradigm of romantic bestiary, the interpretation of symbol in the ideological style contexts in the epoch of romanticism, as well as to revealing of animal kingdom representation features in literatures of peoples living in East, Central and Western Europe. The literary process of the end of the XVIII - the beginning of the XIX centuries has been analysed on the example of poetic text structures typical of the epoch of romanticism.
