This thesis summarizes the results of a study conducted on 122 patients with rheuma-toid arthritis (RA), out of which 82 patients had hypertension syndrome. The study estab-lished common pathogenic mechanisms, including the presence of chronic inflammation, endothelial dysfunction, which manifests itself primarily as result of a disruption of nitric oxide (NO) bioavailability and increase of its systemic synthesis in patients with сomor-bid pathology. Under the influence of combined AHT, the patients noted improvement as a reduction in breathlessness, disappearance of headaches, dizziness, cardialgia, disap-pearance of the symptoms of malfunctioning cardiac activity, improvement of sleep, and reduced irritability. Also, under the influence of intended AHT, there was an increase in para-sympathetic influence on heart rate, lowering blood pressure, reduction in markers of inflammatory process, and reduction of stable metabolites of NO in the blood.
