Essay

The thesis colligates the data of a complex clinico-immunologic and bio-chemical examination of 192 patients with urticaria medicamentosa (UM). Patients with UM demonstrated malfunctions of systemic immunity humoral component: increase in CIC (circulation immune complex) concentration mainly at the cost of the most pathogenic medium-molecular and micro-molecular fractions, disimmunoglibulinemia. Patients with acute form of UM showed increase in the levels of proinflammatory cytokine (IL-1?, IL-2 and TNF? (tumor necrosis factor)) and disbalance of anti-inflammatory (IL-4) cytokine in blood - the majority of patients examined with alergic processes on skin.showed growth of its level. It has been ascertained that build-up of "middle molecules", metabolites of lipid peroxidation against the background of significant decrease in activity of antioxidant defense system ferments occurs in the patients examined. The degree of diagnosing bio-chemical rate abnormalities was positively correlated with the spread of acute UM. Inclusion of reamberin and atoxil into the treatment complex for children with acute UM has been pathogenetically validated. Appropriateness of carrying out immunorehabilitation of convalescents under secondary immunodeficiency with the help of polyoxidonium, and for those patients who have had acute UM with dysfunctional biliary tract disorders -cinarix, has been indicated.
