Improving of innovative-investment efficiency of railway transport activity in Ukraine. Object - innovative-investment processes at railway transport. Aim - argumentation theoretical and methodical approaches of efficiency rising of innovative-investment activity. Science novelty - it has been improved the substation of theoretical basis of innovative-investment efficiency of railway transport activity via objects and subjects definitions, process characteristics, determining the aim and results of innovative-investment efficiency activity. It allowed offering its improved determining as complex of scientific, techno-technological, managerial, financial and commercial acts due to renew and improve economical potential, characteristics of services and kinds of activities that provides the efficient functioning and development of the branch in total; structure of innovative process of railway transport on the basis of extracting its outgoing stage "strategy analysis of development", which allows in each stage to identify the conformity of characteristics and actions of introduced innovative projects, limitations, aims and purposes of branch development. Theoretical basis of sector-specific innovative fund extending, which include argumentation of the aim, the subject of activity, the mechanism of management and attraction of funds, that unlike of existing take into account specific of railway transport. Methodical approaches to choosing innovative projects via using of triple level estimation of efficiency, modeling of versions of project innovative support and introduction of practicable option methods, that allows to show advantages and disadvantages of proposed innovative projects. Further development: classification of innovative-investment activity and investment, which was complemented characteristically "general aim" (efficiency of activity, competitive production, enterprise competitiveness on the basis of innovative development) and "providing innovative process influence" (basic, supportive). Proposals as to activation innovative-investment activity of railway transport that unlike existing include developing of new innovative and financial coordination institutions of innovative development and argumentation of communication at all stages of innovative process. Methodical approaches as to efficiency of innovative-investment activity, which are based on strategical estimations of efficiency and productivity of innovative-investment activity and application of balanced index system.
