The dissertation studies the criminal liability for sexual intercourse with a person who has not reached puberty. The social conditions that cause the penal prohibition of these acts, objective and subjective essential elements of offence, qualifying features in accordance with the I Part and II Part the Article 155 the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and also penal sanctions and the practice of imposing criminal punishment are considered.
