Kononova D. Realization of Causation in Official and Non-official Communicative Situations (based on modern English).

The dissertation is dedicated to the research of causation expression in the official and non-official communicative situations of the modern English Discourse. The linguistic status of causation is determined as a speech expression of linguistic category of causation, man's speech-cognitive activity and communicative strategy realized by means of verbal and non-verbal markers. The structural model of communicative situation of causation is offered. Official, non-official, semi-official communicative situations of causation in monologue, dialogue, polilogue speech in different spheres of intercourse are analyzed. The inventory of verbal and non-verbal markers of causation is made, their cohesive capacities are explored. The influence of social, gender and age factors is taken into account. The models communicants of verbal and non-verbal conduct in the situations of causation, types and role of linguistic personalities of causator and recipient in providing successful causation and means of communicative failures prevention are considered.
