Essay

Investigated objects: Protolytic equilibria of xanthene dyes in direct and reverse microemulsions. Purpose:to identify characteristics of solvation of the reagents in the direct and reverse microemulsions by their influence on protolytic equilibria and spectral properties of the complex multifunctional indicator-probes, in particular, fluorescein dyes with different structures. At the same time to establish patterns of the organized media influence on acid-base and tautomeric equilibriums of the new phosphors: fluoro derivatives of fluorescein. Methods and apparatus: spectrophotometry (measurement of the absorption spectra), spektrofluorometry (measuring the fluorescence spectra), infrared spectroscopy (measurement of infrared spectra), potentiometry (pH control). Theoretical and applied results: It has been studied characteristics of solvation in direct and reverse microemulsions through the study of protolytic equilibria and spectral properties of complex multifunctional fluorescein dyes with different structures. It was revealed a strong differentiating impact of direct and reverse microemulsions on acid dissociation of the hydroxyxanthene dyes. Science novelty: First, it has been defined step acid dissociation constants and micro constants, the constants of tautomeric equilibria, the maxima of thein absorption and fluorescence and studied the tautomeric transformations of fluoro derivatives fluorescein in water, water-ethanol mixture (50% by weight), in direct microemulsions based on cationic surfactant at high ionic strength of the bulk phase (1 mol / L KCl), in reverse microemulsions stabilized by anionic surfactants - Aerosol OT. Degree and field of the practical application: the developments of the thesis are used in the lectures "Chemistry of surfactants and detergents" (specialization in Physical Chemistry ", who taught at the Chemistry Department of Kharkov National University after name V. N. Karazin. These data are also useful for further research in the physical Chemistry field of the organized solutions.
