Essay

The dissertation highlights the experimental research results on imported genotypes use efficiency under the conditions of industrial technology. The pigs belong to Danish, French and English selection. Index selection and prediction model were applied by pure breeding and crossing. Positive results were obtained according to reproductive sow traits during pure breeding and crossing. Developmental and growth rate of the crossbred young stock were investigated. Production character was evaluated according to feedlot traits, slaughter and bacon-lard-making yield. 100kg live weight (LW) fattened young stock proved to advantage purebred yearlings per 10-14 days.
