Magnetic properties of (3HgSe)1-x(Al2Se3)x crystals, doped manganese and iron are stipulated by clusters of multiple type and size where have place exchange (Mn-Se-Mn, Fe-Se-Fe, Fe-Fe-Fe) interaction take place and changes in cluster crystal subsystem as a result of heat treatment. The conductivity of the crystals is an almost linear function of temperature, suggesting that these materials are potentially attractive as functional components of semiconductor sensors. Band parameters gained from kinetic and optic investigation coordinate which each other well. This enabled us to determine the compounds with the help of which "zero-bandgap semiconductor - usual semiconductor" transition take place in solid solutions under study.
