Stoian D. U.I.Vassyan as a representative of Ukrainian philosophical thought

The research work analyzes philosophic heritage of U.I. Vassyan, Ukrainian philosopher, politician, ideologist and writer of political essays of 20's - 50's of the 20th century. The main conceptual components of his philosophy are historiosophy, in the boundaries of which the philosophic grounding of the theory of a nation lies, and theoretical philosophy. The thesis investigates the provisions of U.I. Vassyan's philosophic views development; the theoretical reconstruction of the historical process theory in historiosophic concept of U.I. Vassyan is made; the specifics of his approach to the problems of philosophic grounding of Ukrainian nation is shown; the category "reality" is used for the purpose of resolution of ontological-gnoseological, philosophic and philosophic-religious issues of U.I.Vassyan's theoretical philosophy. The philosophic ideas of U.I. Vassyan are an important step on the way of the development of Ukrainian philosophic thought and give the opportunity to offer the effective way of philosophic grounding of Ukrainian nation.
