Petrusha O. Peculiarities of appearance and treatment of erosive and ulcerous changes in mucous coat of stomach and mucous membrane of duodenum of patients with polycythemia vera in the erythremic stage

Research object: patients with polycythemia vera (PV) nd similar on age patients with the clinical displays of chronic gastritis and ulcerous illness without the disease of blood. Research purpose: frequency and mechanisms of appearance of stomach dyspepsia and erosive and ulcerous changes in mucous membrane (MM) of stomach and mucous membrane of duodenum of patients with PV were studied as well as the methods of their treatment. Research methods: clinical, biochemical, instrumental, statistical. Novelty: it is revealed that patients with PV and H.pylori-infection, hyperacidity or taking acetylsalicylic acid in 100 mg per day dose all above are not the basic pathogenic factors of dyspepsia syndrome displays development. On the grounds of research results statistically it was proved and confirmed by MM histological research data that the main reason of erosive and ulcerous changes emergence at patients with PV is typical for this disease vascular and microcirculatory injury at MM caused by pletoric and myeloproliferative syndromes manifestations. The most optimal method of medical treatment and prophylaxis of MM erosive and ulcerous changes at PV in comparison with gemaeksfuzion therapy and application of hydroxyurea, is application of interferon. On a background use interferon frequency of met of erosions and ulcers complications went down from 40,0% to 8,0% cases. It is inculcated in practice - haematological department of the Main military medical order of Red Star of clinical center "GVKG" MD Ukrainy, CZ COR "Kiev's regional oncologic dispensary", Poltava regional clinical hospital, and also in the pedagogical process of department of haematology of the National medical academy of post-graduate education named after P.L. Shupik and departments of internal illnesses and medicine of the urgent states of faculty of post-graduate education of HGEO the "Ukrainian medical stomatological academy", Poltava.
