Essay

The methods of pressure treatment was selected with high degrees (up to 96%) - hydroextrusion and gaz extrusion to produce bars and products made of powder high-speed steel R6M5K5 with programmed structure and properties. It is established that treatment with high degrees of pressure allows to obtain steel with controlled structure and properties, ensures the formation of homogeneous fine-grained structure and uniform distribution of carbides, the possibility of long products of small diameter in 1 cycle of deformation, a high utilization ratio of materials. At first to determine the parameters of dynamic hot-extrusion of sintered bars installed combined effect of temperature and density of the blanks of high speed steel on the mechanical properties. At first the temperature-power intervals of hydroekstrusion and gaz extrusion were set. The research results are implemented in the production of drills with a diameter up to 2,4 mm in diameter and machine taps up to 3,5 mm powder steel R6M5K5 was realised in Southern Machine-Building Plant named after A.M. Makarov and in The Ukrainian Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering.
