The process of financial sanation of banks in the conditions of crisis in Ukraine. The theoretical principles of the financial mechanism of banks' sanation have been proved and the offers of its subsequent improvement have been developed. The methods are formalization, comparison, system, analytical, Delphi approach, generalization and modeling. The definition of the enterprises' sanation was improved. The methods of banks' rating - pretenders to state participate in capitalization have been offered. The theoretical bases of construction the financial mechanism of banks' sanation were proved for the first time and the methodical approaches to an estimation of its efficiency were improved. The recommendations for perfection of anti-recessionary actions in banking system and offers in the field of reforming the national deposit insurance system were introduced.
