Essay

The concept of creative thinking processes of musical art in the light of the notion of theatricality is presented in the thesis. The proposed treatment of theatricality is based on B. Assafiev's intonational theory that appears as means of artistic communication including both sound and visual forms. The special role of artistic transformation as a means of theatrical factor's actualization in music and performance art is revealed in the work.The problem of artistic experiencing in the process of reconstructive music and performance activities is considered in the context of artistic transformation. The signs of "school experiencing" creative method in piano performance are formulated.
