Essay

The thesis presents a new theoretical synthesis and solution of scientific prob-lems of modern pediatrics - diagnostic's improvement of acetonemic syndrome based on clarification of pathogenic mechanisms, fat, carbohydrate and protein metabolism in children with digestive system diseases and development of their rehabilitation. The features of the perinatal period, heredity, clinical characteristics of children with ace-tonemic syndrome were presented. Prognostic criteria of acetonemic syndrom were de-veloped. The fat (cholesterol, nonetheryficated fatty acids in blood), protein (general blood protein) and carbohydrate metabolism (glucose, lactate, pyruvate in blood) were studied. The features of the vegetative nervous system functioning (vegetative tonus, reactivity, vegetative provision) were determined. The levels of adrenaline, noradrena-line, glucagone, cortisole, insulin in blood were defined. Investigation of total car-nitine's level in blood and its involvement in pathogenesis of ketonemia were clarified. The systematic analysis of biochemical homeostasis's features was carried out. The ef-fectiveness of rehabilitation program for children with acetonemic syndrome in inter-crisis period was developed and evaluated. Key words: acetonemic syndrome, diseases of digestive system, vegetative ho-meostasis, hormonal status, beta-oxidation of fatty acids, carnitine, children.
