Essay

On basis of documents and materials analysis the life and occupation of squirearchies of soviet Ukraine in 20th years of XX century are researched. Author studied relations between soviet authority and agrarian intelligentsia. It was determined, that among both representatives of concurrent elites there wasn't same meaning in relations from one to another. It is shown a dynamics of changes in attitudes of agrarian intelligentsia towards bolshevists, and also main points of view inwardly Communist's Party (bolshevists) of Ukraine into its place and role in soviet society. Made by author data calculations of squirearchies quantity at beginning and ending of 20th years of XX century are given. Theoretical bases of problem are summarized by researcher and gives own determination a concept "agrarian intelligentsia". Basic directions of activity of squirearchies are analyzed in research. It is marked out, that as distinct from modern ones, squirearchies of soviet Ukraine in 20th years of XX century were engaged in not only scientific, educational, research, production, administrative activity and agronomical propaganda, but also were forced to be engaged in cultural-elucidative work. It is proved, that transformation of consciousness and everyday life of villagers, as one of main tasks of soviet authority, demanded a conversion of the "old" and creation of the "new" spirit-cultural spaces of agrarian intelligentsia. There are discovered ways and mechanisms of influence of soviet power on transformation of consciousness and spiritual world of squirearchies. The features of everyday life's conditions of agrarian intelligentsia in town and in a village are investigated. There are represented financial profits and charges, purchasing power, conditions of life and labour, dresses, leisure, social maintenance, medicine, sanatorium-resort treatment. Specified, that all of it changed were as a result of government propagation of new life standards.
