Essay

Subject of research - the process of soil fertility change crop productivity and quality formation. The aim - to establish the tillage and fertilizing system efficiency and conducting mulching that would secure the high level of crop rotation productivity at not high expenditures of energy resources. The research methods are field, analytic mathematical and statistical, computational-comparative. It is established that against a fertilized badground when using straw for mulching the nonmoldboard shallow tillage system in a crop rotation is effective. It secures the improvement of soil fertility indices, more efficient use of ground moisture, the increase of erosion resistance of soil and productivity of eight-course grain-fallow row-crop rotation as compared with traditional ploughing. The recommendations to production are worked out concerning the use of nonmoldboard shallow basic tillage system 12-14 cm deep with mulching on common chernozem what promotes lowering costs by 18% and the increase of profitableness by 44%. The research results introduced at the farmsteads of the Polohiv and Tokmach district of Zaporizhzha region during 2007-2008 over an area 165 ha. The field of application - the agricultural production.
