Gerasymenko N. The regulation of agricultural crops insurance system in Ukraine

The work studies the main theoretical principles of risk and insurance in agriculture. Analyzes historical aspect of evolution of the theory of risks on different development stages. Describes the main regulation principles of the agricultural insurance system development. Analyzes the current agricultural insurance system in Ukraine, the existing insurance products and the special features of the State regulation of the agricultural insurance system, including the subsidizing program, defines the influence of state support on development and improvement of agricultural insurance system, as well as separate regional peculiarities of emerging and overcoming of the consequences of the natural catastrophic event. Proposes ways to improvement the regulation of the agricultural insurance system with the help of the tool that includes regulatory, financial-economic and institutional actions, shows directions of improvement of state support efficiency and states proposals to stimulate the development of the agricultural insurance system in Ukraine.
