The dissertation is devoted to researching of parodying methods in satirical pieces of music of Ukrainian and Russian composers ХIХ-XXI centuries. Compositions of N. Lysenko, I. Sonevitsky, D. Shostakovich, R. Schedrin, A. Holminov, G. Banshchikov, V. Gavrilin, M. Musorgsky, A. Bondarenko are considered from the point of view of actual for aesthetic and musicological thought of the XX-th century of a problem of an embodiment in musical art of an aesthetic category "comic" through parodying methods. Studying of a musical material is made in a foreshortening of revealing of specificity of parodying methods in concrete pieces of music.
