Bogach M. Efficiency of agricultural production and the living standard of the population

The theoretical foundations for the interrelation between the efficiency of agricultural production and the living standard have been considered in the dissertation paper and the methodology recommendations have been developed. The analysis of indices of the agricultural production efficiency has been conducted. The tendencies that influence the living standard of the selected region have been revealed and the amount of income from agricultural operation as compared to a total household income has been estimated. The dynamics of prices on foodstuff products and the agricultural produce has been studied and as a result the extent of interrelation between the agricultural production efficiency and the living standard has been established. Perspective criteria for the incomes, costs on purchasing foodstuffs, productivity and the amount of wages in agricultural enterprises of the population in Lviv region for 2015 have been grounded. The proposals on improvement of economic relations in foodstuffs chain from a producer to a consumer with the aim of lowering the price on foodstuffs have been worked out.
