Artemyev B. Evaluation of constraints in usage of economic potential of an enterprise

The essence and the directions of the usage of the economic potential of machine-building enterprises have been defined. The necessity to define constraints which interfere with the purpose usage of the economic potential of an enterprise has been de-fined, and the definition of the term of constraint in the usage of the economic potential of an enterprise has been specified. It has been determined that the results of the con-straints evaluation should be used for subsequent realization of operations with con-straints (establishing or removing constraints), which result in the increase of the extent of purpose usage of the present economic potential of an enterprise. The set of con-straints in the usage of the economic potential of an enterprise has been identified. The correlation of the structure of the enterprise economic potential and the constraints in its usage has been analyzed, and the structure of constraints has been specified. The ef-fect of the constraints on the effectiveness of the enterprise economic potential usage has been analyzed. The method of evaluation of constraints in the usage of the enter-prise economic potential has been suggested. The analytical support of operations with constraints has been grounded, and the areas of the enterprise economic potential usage have been specified. The method of identification of constraints in the usage of the economic potential, on the basis of the area of the enterprise economic potential usage in the two-dimensional space, the co-ordinates of which are the extent of the usage of enterprise economic potential and the directions of its usage, has been suggested. The structure of operations with constraints in usage of the economic potential of an enter-prise has been grounded. The algorithm of the bivariant choice of operations of estab-lishing or removing constraints in usage of the economic potential of an enterprise has been developed. The sequence of operations in relation to establishing and removing the constraints in usage of the economic potential has been specified. The developed recommendations have been used in the activity of machine-building enterprises.
