Siriachenko N. Legal Regulation of Employment in Market Economy Conditions

Proclaiming Ukraine as a social state enjoins it upon realization of an active social policy including the sphere of legal regulation of employment and job placement. The notion "employment" should be considered in the wide and narrow senses.In the wide sense it is an aggregate of social relations connected with exercising right to labour by individuals, endued with labour personality, by means of activity concerned with personal and public needs, aiming to meet their financial requirements and moral self-fulfilment, provided by the state. In the narrow sense it is a process of job search conducted by individuals which are in need for it, with an eventual result of an official employment by all existent legal means.
