Object of research is the 6-11 years old children with Down syndrome.Subqect of research is the рsychological peculiarities of the communicative abilities development of 6 -11 years old children with Down syndrome. Methods of research: Theoretical Methods: The study and theoretical synthesis of research materials from the special psychology, correctional pedagogy and medical literature on the study, analysis of anamnestic data, consultation and discussions with parents and personnel with the aim of studying the neuro-psychological and social patterns of children with Down's syndrome; Research Methods: psychodiagnostic examination (The "ladder" method (S. Jacobson, B. G. Schoor); technique of self-consciousness investigation (Nepomnyaschaya N.I.); method of "Evaluation of emotional and communicative and behavioral areas of children with severe developmental disabilities "(V. Tkacheva); " Two Houses " method (I. Vandvik and P. Ekblad); " Free classification " method (E.Y. Agayeva); The" nonsense " method (Sadykova, A.N.) The scientific novelty of the results of research: For the first time the psychological peculiarities and communicative abilities display has been revealed in 6-11 years old children with Down syndrome; Key indicators of the communicative abilities display of the studied contingent were revealed; Information about the positive development of the communicative abilities display in terms of public institutions and family education was supplemented; Diagnostic battery of psychological features determining the communicative abilities display was improved.The practical significance of the research lays in developing of remedial work program on the development of communicative abilities of 6-11 years old children with Down syndrome in a family education.The effect of the introduction - high.
