Essay

Analytical treatment and numerical simulation is provided for the energetic particle losses on tokamak plasma periphery. For the first time the long evolution of charged fusion product ensemble is investigated by the full orbit method. The behavior peculiarities and loss mechanisms of fast ions under axial-asymmetric perturbations of magnetic configuration are investigated. For the first time it is demonstrated that accounting for the finite magnitude of toroidal field ripples resulted in a substantial modification of the orbit topology of trapped particles. The kinetic description method of ripple induced losses in constants of motion space is extended.
