Petrо V. Subject of crimes against property: notion, types, criminal-legal significance

Dissertation is devoted to the research of subject of crimes against property and its criminal-legal significance. The work elaborates a generic notion of subject of these crimes, which embraces physical, economical, social and legal characteristics. Dissertation works out scientific criminal-legal typology (classification) of subjects of crimes against property including: 1) property of another: (a) res; (b) money; (c) stock; (d) documents, which represent equivalent of value; 2) objects (phenomena) equated to property: (a) land; (b) energy (electric and thermal) and fuel gas; (c) title; (d) actions of pecuniary character. The work elaborates rules of qualification for property offences taking into consideration their subject and distinguishes these offences from related generally harmful actions and from actions, which are not categorized as crimes. It formulates and substantiates improvements of current criminal legislature of Ukraine and it practical application.
