Khodash A. The above-ground phytomass of common oak in windbreaks of Eastern Woodlands and Central Forest-Steppe zone

The thesis is devoted to the researches of above-ground phytomass of trees and stands of common oak growing in windbreaks. It is described the morphological, biological, ecological and forest meliorate properties of common oak growing in windbreaks. The retrospective analyze of background field-protective afforestation have been done and its current state within territory of Ukraine analyzed. The dependence between the quantity of components of phytomass and the main measurement and meliorate indices such as protective height and porosity in the crowns of windbreaks have been established. As result of modeling of above-ground phytomass of strip stands the mathematic models of evaluation of the components of above-ground of a tree crown and a windbreak have been developed. The standards for determination of the quantity of components of phytomass for trunks and crowns of trees and oak windbreaks as well as sequestered carbon have been developed. The developed models and standards were analyzed and the structure of phytomass on the components and sequestered carbon done. The comparative analyze has found out the trends to increase of part of crown phytomass in the oak windbreaks with increasing of their biometric characteristics in the compare with massive stands.
