Objekt: "The Danzig Trilogy" by Gunter Grass. Aim: to analyse the poetological means that Gunter Grass had used to convert his mental concept of history into fictional historical texts of "The Danzig Trilogy". Methods: close reading, narratological, reception aesthetics. Scientific novelty: this is the first in the Ukrainian literary studies the detailed analysis of "The Danzig Trilogy" by Gunter Grass, as well as reconstruction of particularities of his history concept and its implementation on different levels of the poetical system has been conducted. Approved in 8 publications. The sphere of use: literature and high sckool practice.
