Analytical evaluation of the influence of high-temperature coke upon technical and economic indices of blast-furnace melt, improvement of the functioning of blast furnaces by means of the appropriate choice of grades of coal charge and development of technical measures aimed at minimization of poor of blast-furnace meat at decrease of coke CSR. Laboratory tests of coke were performed in order to evaluate CSR and CRI of coke, mathematical models were developed and experimental heats were performed on blast furnace of "Azovstal". Coefficients of the influence of CSR coke upon its qualitative and quantitative relationship of the parameters were determined, expressed in various forms, which allow to optimize the charge content, with the aim of reduction of cast iron production costs. Alternations were introduced into technological instruction TI-232-1-2007 production of cost iron at "Azovstal". It was implemented. Iron and Steel production. Blast-furnace production.
