The research deals with the study of clinical forms of ophthalmic complications in patients with diabetes and research methods of early diagnosis through the use of immunological methods. The approach in evaluating the prognosis of disease, which is based on the level of immune processes as markers of pathological process in the body of diabetes, is offered. First studied growth factors pigment epithelial leakage in diabetic retinopathy. A study of the interaction of angiogenic factors (factor pigment epithelium and vascular endothelial growth factor) with diabetes and their changes for different types of diabetic retinopathy.
