Dissertation is devoted to research of behavioralism as a concept of American political science. Essence, evolution and influence of behavioralism on development of political science of XX age is examined, the location of behavioralism in the system of American political science is determined, own determination and interpretation of concept " behavioralism " is given, the evolution of behavioralism is analysed as a stage of development of American political science, essence and features of behavioralism are shown as a leading system of scientific knowledge in American political science, influence of behavioralism on transformation of European political science researches is determined, reasons of behavioralism decline as the method of search of unified scientific knowledge and social practice are shown. Behavioralism is determined as a stage product of social development of American society of 1920-1970th.
