Essay

The close link between confessional and ethnic identity is shown in the dissertation. The opinion that retreating from traditional Armenian church will cause the loss of national identity and following assimilation is being affirmed. The role of Armenian church in surviving of Armenian ethnos in polyethnical environment is researched. The research of ethnoreligious awareness of Armenians in Crimean diaspora is made.
