The thesis is devoted to the question of increasing of the effectiveness of the method of treatment of patients with diabetic retinopathy, complicated by diabetic macular eodema, by conducting intravitreal injection of crystal corticosteroid - bethamethason and triamcinolon. The injections have been used either monotherapy, or in combination with laser coagulation. Intravitreal injections are based on the scientific developments concerning the level of proinflammatory prosthaglandines, cytokines disbalance, fibrinolysis and proteolisis activity of anterior chamber liquid of patient?s with diabetic retinopathy.
