Struk V. Clinical peculiarities of the prosthesis of mandibular distal defects with the use of arch dentures with carved fixing elements.

The work is devoted to the problem of both increasing the efficiency of the treatment of the patients with mandibular distal defects with the use of clasp dental prostheses with carved fixing elements and clinical approbation of the research results. To study the complications caused by the prostheses use as well as the supporting teeth periodontium state the examination of adult population with the mandibular distal defects wearing clasp dental prostheses with different fixing elements was conducted. Basing on the received results of mathematical modeling arch denture constructions with different fixing elements the equivalent tensions of the supporting tooth periodontium are considered to be the key criterion for the comparison of different methods of clasp dental prosthesis fixation. Since they appeared to be the closest to the boundary values. So the conducted clinical research revealed better adaptation to clasp dental prostheses and function recovery at the patients who used prostheses fixed with the help of support-retentive clasps and telescopic arrangements.
