Andriichuk F. Lending in the system of financing foreign economic activities in Ukraine

Investigated theoretical and practical aspects of financing of foreign trade, main stages of the system of financing of foreign trade in Ukraine classified by the criterion of liberalization of foreign economic activities, reviewed and summarized the experience of individual countries in this area, identified shortcomings of the modern system of financing foreign trade in Ukraine and the algorithm to eliminate them. Developed the organizational and methodical recommendations for improving the financing of foreign trade on the basis of typical model of institutional structure of trade finance (ISTF), developed by Economic and Social Commission of United Nations for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). The adaptation of this model for Ukraine has been made by author of dissertation. In the framework of the adapted model the author proposes the creation of the Agency for development of foreign trade financing and the Agency for export credit insurance and guarantee.
