Essay

Research object: phase and structural transformations in periclase-carbon materials at heat treatment and in the process of service. Research purpose: development of compositions of the masses and technology of import-substituting non-fired periclase-carbon refractories on the base of thermosetting binding with high physical-mechanical properties and increased stability to oxidation and the action of slag. Research methods and apparatus: thermodynamics, X-rey phase (DRON-3М), petrographic (polarization microscopes of MIN-8 and Nu-2e) differentially-thermal (ОD-103М) methods, complex of physic-mechanical methods and statistical methods of planning of experiment with the use of COMPUTER. Theoretical and practical results: on the basis of the developed scientific positions and experimental findings compositions of the masses and technological process of production of periclase-carbon refractories are developed with high operating descriptions which are protected patents on inventions; technological instruction is developed on the typical technological process of making modified non-fired periclase-carbon refractory products. Novelty: conformities to law and features of influence of modifying additions of elementorganic type are certain on group-phase transformation of periclase-carbon materials at heat treatment and in the process of service, that became pre-condition for the receipt of refractories of enhanceable firmness to oxidization and action of slag in result due to creation of squeezing carbon fines between grains of periclase, which dispersion-hardened nanosized particles. Degree of introduction: technology of periclase-carbon materials is accepted to introduction on LTD "PO"Ukrspecogneupor-Eksport"; job performances are inculcated in the educational process of NTU"KPI". Industry of the use: job performances can be used on the enterprises of heat-resistant industry in the production of periclase-carbon materials for metallurgical industry of Ukraine; also in higher educational establishments at preparation of specialists on technology of refractory non-metal and silicate materials.
