Lavrovska O. Features of orthopedic treatment with removable plate dentures of patients with liver cirrhosis

The dissertation is devoted to the increase of efficacy of the orthopedic treatment with removable plate prosthesis in patients with liver cirrhosis and prophylaxis of inflammatory processes of the mucous membranes of the prosthesis bed. It studies the influence of the removable plate appliances on the mucous membrane of the prosthesis bed; it confirms the toxic action of plastic which most often is due to the influence of residual monomer on the mucous membrane of the prosthesis bed in patients with liver cirrhosis. There was suggested the fabrication method of removable prosthesis (saturation of the prostheses bases under the compression of tymogen) for the decrease of the toxic action of the residual monomer in the prostheses bases on the mucous membrane of the prosthesis basis in these patients. It's determined that the use of the suggested fabrication technology of the removable plate prosthesis prevents the development of the inflammatory processes in the mucous membranes of the prosthesis bed.
