Introduced the theoretical and practical results of the research of mechanisms of attraction and use of foreign investments at machine-building enterprises. Defined sence, meaning and types of foreign investments, problems of formation of investment climate in Ukraine, peculiarities of attraction and use of foreign investments by industrial enterprises; evaluated the influence of foreign capital on the growth of business value; calculated economic efficiency of foreign investments at machine-building enterprises of Vinnytska oblast; substantiated the integral index where the most important components are reinvestment ratio, asset turnover ratio and return on investments; substantiated the establishment of the investment promoting system, selection and realization of investment projects, economic security balance in conditions of economic openness to foreign investments.
