Essay

The objective is to study and to develop a new efficient, economical process clear miscarriage of nitrogen oxides emissions and to develop a mathematical model of the process of adsorption/desorption of nitrogen oxides in synthetic zeolites. The object of the research is the process of adsorption/desorption of nitrogen oxides in synthetic zeolites. The subject of study is to determine regularities of the process of adsorption/desorption of nitrogen oxides in synthetic zeolites and adsorption capacity of zeolites X and A types. Scientific novelty of the results: it was conducted removal of nitrogen oxides from the gas stream by means of their adsorption on synthetic zeolites A and X types to the first time; it was theoretically and experimentally proved that the process of adsorption of nitrogen oxides on zeolites is not layer by layer, but as a resulting of volume filling of micropores; mathematical model allows to adequately describe the dynamics of the current process of adsorption/desorption of nitrogen oxides in synthetic zeolites and to determine the concentration of nitrogen oxides in the adsorbent at any time. On the basis of obtained experimental data, mathematical calculations show that the process of adsorption on synthetic zeolites is an effective method of removing nitrogen oxides (99,95%) from the gas stream. The mathematical model used to determine the parameters of the new gas cleaning schemes and predict change settings when upgrading existing systems in the gas purification industry.
