Essay

The objective is to reduce power losses in electric power systems (EPS) through better control the parameters of normal modes taking into account the adjustment capacity of transformers with load tap changers and their technical condition. The object of research thesis is the normal modes of EPS, and the subject of research - the operational сontrol of the regime parameters of electric power systems under incomplete input data. The thesis for the task were used: similarity theory and neurofuzzy modeling. Scientific novelty of these results is that: - first proposed the use of standard specifications of the technical power losses in order to minimize the deviation of current technical power losses from the planned their importance for the optimal management of the normal modes of EPS, which reduces power losses for the period and bring them closer to the normative values - has been further developed a method of optimal control of normal modes of EPS criterial method, in contrast to the well-known based on the notion of similarity criteria in the form of membership functions, which allows to improve the efficiency of control actions carried out by transformers with OLTC, and thereby reduce power loss during transmission; - has been further developed a method to determine the quality of functioning transformer tap-changer, which is characterized by taking into account the ratio of power losses in electrical networks and the coefficient of the residual life of LTC transformers, which enables more informed decisions on optimization of EPS under incomplete input data. Obtained in the thesis research results are used in South-West in order to improve the optimization of electric power networks in the educational process Vinnytsia National Technical University. Sphere (region) use - electric power systems of Ukraine.
