Olinyk O. Pathogenetic substantiation of differential treatment of peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum combined with diabetes mellitus

The object of the research: peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, combined with diabetes mellitus. Objective - to identify pathogenic features of peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, combined with diabetes mellitus and to improve treatment of this pathology on the basis of the results. Methods: clinical, biochemical, immunoenzymatic, filtration, instrumental, histological and histochemical, the quality of life of patients, statistical methods. Results: improved differentiated treatment of peptic ulcers of the stomach and duodenum, combined with diabetes mellitus, by adding to the standard basic antihelicobacter therapy drug quinapril and "Placenta-compositum". Clinical equivalent of the treatment effectiveness is quicker elimination of dyspeptic syndrome, prolonged clinical and endoscopic remission and improvement of quality of life of patients. The results are put into practice in Chernivtsi, Cherkasy, Crimea and Transcarpathian regional hospitals, municipal hospitals of Dnipropetrovsk, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, as well as into the scientific and educational activity of Bukovinian, Crimea, Lviv and Ternopil Medical Universities. The field of application: gastroenterology, endocrinology, therapy, family medicine.
