Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the clinical and immunological substantiation of postoperative therapy for the patients with recurrent polypous rhinosinusitis (PRS).The material for this paper was obtained during the examination and treatment of 120 patients with recurrent PRS and 40 with first diagnosed with PRS. The control group consisted of 20 apparently healthy donors. The frequency of the recurrence of polipoid in the nasal cavity, the functional status of the mucosa and indicators before and long-time after the treatment (1, 3, 6, 12 months) characterize the state of the organism's immune system.A parallelism between the normalization of immune status and clinical efficiency of the provided treatment was revealed. A tendency of return of the initial immune status indicators was revealed 6 months later, which dictates the necessity of repeated immunotherapy courses for the patients with recurrent PRS.
