Object of research: processes of the state stimulation of innovative development of economy. Research objective: working out of the mechanism of the state stimulation of innovative development of chemical branch. Research methods: analysis the economic statistics, an estimation of innovative potential of the enterprise; the PEST-analysis; the system approach; principles of evolutionary economy. Scientific novelty of dissertational work consists in working out of the mechanism of the state stimulation of innovative development of chemical branch. For the first time the conceptual approach to realization of the state stimulation of innovative development of economy taking into account a phase of a business cycle, a stage of life cycle of branch and innovative potential of the enterprise is generated; the organizational-methodical component of the mechanism of the state stimulation of innovative development of chemical branch is developed. Are improved: methodical bases of an estimation of innovative potential of the enterprise of chemical branch; a method of carrying out of the analysis of environment (PEST-analysis) for the enterprises of chemical branch. Had the further development: the state approach to stimulation of innovative development of economy as formations of national innovative system; recommendations about stimulation of innovative development of chemical branch of Ukraine as a whole and the separate enterprise.
