In this thesis determined the structure of diplomatic documents on the history of Ukrainian-German relations during the period of the Central Rada, characterized by its comprehensiveness and representativeness, proposed classification. The criteria for the classification of diplomatic documents are their origin and character of contained information. Introduced in the scientific and analyze unidentified diplomatic documents on the history of Ukrainian-German relations during the period of the Central Rada in the diplomatic, economic, military and other spheres of international cooperation, the issue of authentication sources disclosed their information potential. Prove the reliability of the system of diplomatic documents and justified their place in the study of the nature and characteristics of Ukrainian-German relations during the period of the Central Rada.
