The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical, legal and applied problematic issues of providing the right of a person to respect his own dignity on the stage of pretrial investigation in the Criminal process of Ukraine. The ethical, legal and historical aspects of the notion of a personal dignity as the social value of the subjective right of a person have been researched on the background of the analysis the Constitution of Ukraine provisions, international and legal acts in person's rights, Criminal procedural code and other laws of Ukraine, foreign countries, projects of a new Criminal-procedural code of Ukraine, special literary sources, the materials of investigative and forensic practice.
