Gorokhivskyi O. Economic regulation of forest products exports in Ukraine

In the dissertation work the theoretical and practical aspects of economic regulation of forest products production and exports are explored. It is proposed the system of ecological and economical tools of influence the balanced forest products production and exports from Ukraine. It is researched the world trends of forming demand and supply on forest products. In details it was analysed the state of development of forestry of Ukraine and foreign trade of roundwood and products of its processing. It is determined the competitiveness of home forest products in comparison with European Union-27.It is estimated the comparative competitive advantages of forest enterprises of Chernigiv region on the basis of index method, developed the matrix shape of generalization of analytical information and its interpretation for acceptance of decisions about the choice of basic competitive strategy for researched forest enterprises. The main agents have been identified that have influence on forest products exports from Ukraine and its forecasts are worked out in assistance with trend line of regression and vector autoregression models. It is estimated forest products exports elasticity in dependence on sweep of currencies exchange rates on the basis of VAR model. It is improved the non-tariff tools of influence the exports efficiency of forest products from Ukraine. According to the results of research the proposals due to directions of effective economic regulation of forest products exports in Ukraine are elaborated.
