Essay

Theoretical and experimental studies were used to investigate the influence of ultrasound, which stimulates the barodiffusion process, on electric membrane potentials caused by passive and active ion transport; on Na,K-ATPaze activity; on diffusion coefficient and barodiffusion ratio for one- and two-component liquids in medical and biological objects as well as in molecular liquid systems. The influence of spatial dispersion effects and lower crossover dimensionality on the characteristics of barodiffusion processes was studied. It gives finite value of the barodiffusion ratio and non-zeroth value of the diffusion coefficient at critical point for infinite liquids and for its analogue in confined medical and biological object as well as shifts of pressure under which extremums of barodiffusion ratio and diffusion coefficient in confined systems of different geometry are observed.
